Dumbbell

Dumbbell: Hey, Soarin. Thanks for meeting me today.

Soarin: Of course, you've been worrying me lately. You've been acting weird and depressed...

Dumbbell: I mean...I've just been concerned about Dash. She's been acting so distant and it worries me. Maybe I did something wrong? Or...maybe I didn't do something? 

Soarin: *The stallion sighs as the two walk down the closed wonderbolt runway* Dude...would you just calm down? 

Dumbbell: I can't...She's been acting so depressed recently. Every time she sees a foal she spaces out and doesn't talk to me...

Soarin: *The pegasus was never told what happened to Dash, but knew she had changed since then* Maybe she wants a foal?

Dumbbell: *He sighed softly and shrugged his shoulders a bit* Maybe...but...I dunno. Maybe I should just talk to her? I dunno... *He sighed and looked down at the ground* Maybe she needs something to do? An outlet?

Soarin: *His gloomy face suddenly lights up and his wings even spread a bit, showing his excitement* Of course! She was a wonderbolt, and then she was given honorable discharge! Of course she needs an outlet! She can teach young wonderbolts at the Junior Speedsters Flight Camp. It was closed a few years ago since we had nobody could teach it. We can have her teach them, right?

Dumbbell: Hmmm, that could possibly work. She's been getting a little stronger and can get her hooves off the ground. I bet she'd love to teach the colts and fillies. *He smiled softly just thinking of seeing his wife to be* 

Soarin smiles softly, since he still had some romantic feelings towards Rainbow Dash. He never really got over her but never showed her or any pony else since he didn't want to hurt his friend - Dumbbell.  The only pony that knew about it was Spitfire. She wasn't told, but she was definitely aware of his feelings.
